1. Commitment to accessibility

TRUST EIBARRES, S.A. is committed to making the website https://www.cartuchostrust.com accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their abilities, the device they use or the assistive technologies they need.

This commitment is based on the accessibility principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG): perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.

TRUST EIBARRES, S.A. is a private company. Although it does not fall within the scope of Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September on the accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices in the public sector, it voluntarily adopts its principles and uses standard UNE-EN 301549 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA as references.

2. Legal framework and reference standards

This statement is inspired by the following rules and standards:

  • United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
  • Royal Legislative Decree 1/2013 of 29 November, approving the Consolidated Text of the General Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and their Social Inclusion.
  • Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September on the accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices in the public sector, taken as a reference.
  • Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices of public sector bodies, taken as a reference.
  • Standard UNE-EN 301549, in its current version.
  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, W3C.

3. Scope

This statement applies to the public pages of the website https://www.cartuchostrust.com, including the home page, the cartridge catalogue, the hunter and shooter pages, the news, the contact page, the legal notice, the privacy policy, the cookie policy and this statement.

It does not apply to:

  • Third-party websites accessed through links from this site.
  • Third-party embedded content, such as the Google Maps map, whose accessibility depends on Google.
  • PDF documents or other downloadable files, which are mentioned in section 6.

4. Conformance status

The website is in a state of partial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Most content meets the accessibility requirements, but the limitations described in section 6 have been identified. TRUST EIBARRES, S.A. is working to correct them and to improve continuously.

This statement is based on an initial review of the site and will be updated when a more comprehensive accessibility audit is carried out.

5. Accessibility measures implemented

The website includes, among others, the following measures:

  • HTML5 structure and a language attribute (lang=”es-ES”, “en-US” or “fr-FR”) to help browsers and screen readers interpret the content.
  • A “Skip to content” link to reach the main content directly without going through the entire navigation.
  • Keyboard navigation and visible focus styles on interactive elements.
  • Alternative text on most informative images and empty alternative text on decorative images.
  • Forms with labels associated with the fields and clear indication of required fields.
  • Responsive design, adaptable to different screen sizes and devices.
  • The ability to enlarge text and the interface using browser zoom.
  • A review of colour contrast for the main interface elements.
  • Styles that respect the operating system’s reduced-motion preference.
  • No automatic audio playback.
  • Consistent navigation and clear, plain language.
  • Cookie consent management through the Complianz plugin, with options to accept, reject or configure cookies.

6. Non-accessible content or known limitations

The limitations identified and the available alternatives are listed below:

a) PDF documents

Some PDF documents, such as the commercial catalogue, may not be fully tagged and may not be fully accessible with screen readers. If you need an accessible version of a document, you can request it at trust@www.cartuchostrust.com and we will provide the content in an alternative format whenever possible.

b) Google Maps

The map on the contact page is displayed through a Google iframe. This is third-party content that may not be fully accessible with screen readers or keyboard navigation. As an alternative, the company’s postal address, telephone number and email address are available on the contact page and in this statement.

c) Home page carousel

The home page may include carousels or transitions with automatic movement. If you need to reduce or stop the movement, you can enable the reduced-motion option in your operating system or browser settings, or contact us to receive the information in an alternative format.

d) News and campaign images

Some news or campaign images may have empty or generic alternative text. When the image is the only content of a link, this can make screen reader navigation difficult. This content is being reviewed progressively to improve its alternative text.

e) Heading structure

Some pages may not have a single H1 heading or a fully ordered heading hierarchy. The template structure is being reviewed to improve this.

f) Social media links

Links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and X lead to external platforms and depend on the accessibility of those platforms. TRUST EIBARRES, S.A. does not control their interfaces or content.

g) Videos hosted on YouTube

Videos are hosted on YouTube. The availability of subtitles, accessible controls and other features depends on the platform and on the settings of each video.

7. Browser and assistive technology compatibility

The website is designed to work with current versions of the most common browsers, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari.

It is also designed to be used with:

  • Keyboard navigation, without the need for a mouse.
  • Screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver.
  • Text enlargement and browser zoom.
  • Mobile phones and tablets.
  • Operating system reduced-motion and contrast preferences.

Correct operation is not guaranteed in obsolete browser versions or in highly customised configurations that alter the normal operation of the page.

10. Evaluation and review

This statement will be reviewed at least once a year and whenever significant changes are made to the design, structure or content of the website.
